The Mechatronics Engineering Program is a Bachelor’s Degree Program (B.Sc.) offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Cyprus Aydin University. The program is designed in full compliance with the Bologna Process and is structured to meet international higher education standards.
The program meets the requirements of both the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and the level descriptors of first-cycle degree qualifications of the Overarching Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA). In addition, it fulfills the Level 6 qualification requirements of the Turkish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TYYÇ, NQF-HETR).
Furthermore, the program’s level descriptors also meet the Level 6 requirements of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL), ensuring academic comparability, international recognition, and graduate mobility.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate from the Mechatronics Engineering Program, students must successfully complete all courses designated within the curriculum with passing grades, amounting to a total of 240 ECTS credits. Students are also required to fulfill all laboratory work, internship obligations, and graduation project requirements as specified in the program structure.
In addition, students must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, in accordance with the academic regulations of Cyprus Aydin University.
Upon successful fulfillment of all graduation requirements, students are awarded the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechatronics Engineering degree.
