General Information
Interior Architecture and Environmental Design programs constitute a complex and specialized domain that emphasizes the creation of interior environments within built spaces. The primary aim of these programs is to educate and empower young individuals with extensive knowledge, thereby facilitating the enhancement of living conditions for humanity. In the dynamic realm of design, the roles associated with Interior Architecture and Environmental Design cover a wide array of responsibilities, including spatial analysis, decision-making in design, project planning, selection and detailing of materials, modeling, presentation, production, and addressing implementation challenges. Additionally, Interior Architecture and Environmental Designers interact with various components such as color, texture, both natural and artificial lighting, acoustics, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, furniture, and related elements.

We encourage you to stay connected with us for updates on all our scientific and extracurricular activities. Welcome to the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design program, where we cultivate a familial environment in our student-faculty interactions.
Program Introduction
The Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Programs equip students with a thorough array of skills, competencies, and knowledge aimed at preparing them for careers in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. The goal is to cultivate critical thinkers who are intellectually sharp, socially conscious, and technically proficient architects and designers capable of making significant contributions to modern architectural discussions. A robust design-oriented education provides students with both practical experience and an advanced understanding of state-of-the-art digital tools and technologies. Global challenges are tackled alongside local cultural, climatic, industrial, and social conditions. Ecological and sustainable perspectives are highly esteemed, offering essential tools for understanding and applying social, environmental, and cultural dimensions. Both programs embrace diversity, allowing students to undertake intricate design projects across various scales and contexts.
The programs recognize that teaching design is fundamental to education in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. This education is marked by a significant focus on critical thinking, constructive reasoning, rationality, and creative, reflective thought. Design is regarded as the essential skill for architects and professionals in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. The programs are structured around five thematic areas: design, technology, history and theory, communication, and management & practice. Design projects are intended to unify all thematic elements within the framework of ‘design thinking’ and to enhance students’ abilities to integrate and synthesize complex and diverse information and knowledge into their project proposals.
Students graduate in year 4 (following the completion of 240ECTS) with a Bachelor of Arts or Science (BAArch).
Graduates of this program are thoroughly prepared for a labor market orientation and are capable of pursuing a professional career in the fields of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. Additionally, they are well-equipped to engage in further postgraduate studies or to embark on an academic career.

Assessment & Examination System
Course evaluation typically consists of a thorough final examination along with ongoing assessments. Ongoing assessments may encompass, among other things, quiz, mid-term exams, presentation and juries, projects, final exams, and participation in class.
Letter grades are determined by the proportion of the final exam and ongoing assessments, as well as the actual numerical scores achieved in these two evaluation components. The student’s semester grade point average (GPA) and cumulative point average (CPA) are computed based on the course grades.
