Faculty of Engineering

General Information

The Faculty of Engineering at Cyprus Aydin University was established in 2014 and has started accepting students.

Engineering is a discipline that acts as a bridge between science and technology. It has an important place in the development of humanity. In general, engineering is the application of science and mathematics necessary to solve problems.

Engineers understand how things work and find methods for the practical use of scientific discoveries. Scientists and inventors generally strive for innovations that improve the living conditions of humanity. However, engineers turn these innovations into usable tools.

The basic skill of a good engineer is mathematics, and depending on the chosen engineering field, other skills required must be physics and/or science in addition to mathematics.

Engineers design, evaluate, develop, test, revise, install, inspect and maintain a wide variety of products and systems. In addition, they foresee and determine materials and workflow processes, inspect production and construction stages. They perform error analysis and provide consultancy services. Therefore, job opportunities are quite wide.

If you want a job guarantee, you need to improve yourself. You need to constantly follow innovations and add new information and new techniques to your knowledge.

At CAU, we differentiate you. In addition to the academic education we provide with our international academic staff who are experts in their fields, we prepare you for business life with practical training in fully equipped laboratories. Our faculty hosts the professions of the era, follows technology very closely and has pioneering ideas. At the same time, we reveal and develop your personal development skills and ensure that you start your life one step ahead of other students who graduated at the same time.
