Evaluate the relationship between people, buildings, and their surroundings, demonstrating an understanding of contextual, social, cultural, and environmental impacts of architectural design.
Understand the profession of architecture and the role of the architect within multidisciplinary design teams, the construction industry, and society at large.
Develop comprehensive architectural project briefs by analyzing user needs, site conditions, function, scale, and appropriate technological strategies.
Critically assess structural systems, construction methods, and material choices in relation to architectural design and performance.
Identify environmental challenges, building technologies, and functional requirements to create buildings that provide comfort, safety, and climatic responsiveness within the framework of sustainable development.
Address user requirements while considering economic constraints, building regulations, and professional standards.
Translate architectural concepts into buildable solutions and integrate designs into the broader planning process through knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and construction procedures.
Demonstrate the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and evaluate evidence in order to make informed design decisions at various architectural scales.
Employ a range of architectural representation techniques—manual and digital—to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively throughout all stages of the design process.
